  • The employees of For Youth in: Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Charleroi, Liège and Limburg include the organization of performances in their region itself.

    Objectives of the project:

  • rally youth people from 16 to 25 years old;

  • make culture accessible to deprived youngsters and initiate them to art expression

  • strengthen the social cohesion and push the youths to participate actively to cultural life;

  • Consolidate their self-confidence and work on their ability to be autonomous;

  • Explore with them the cultural sector and the job’s opportunities available.

  • What? (What will we do?)

    A theater performance put forward by ten young people under the guidance of professionals.

    Why? Because with this project:

  • Contribute to the active participation of young people live in the culture;

  • Make contribution to the empowerment and self-confidence of the young people;

  • Young people opportunities to take the initiative in social projects;

  • Strengthen cooperation between young people themselves;

  • Give young people the opportunity to translate their own initiative for a large-scale project. In this way increases their self-confidence and motivation.

    The Gala will be held the 20th February in l’Ecole des Etoiles à Bruxelles.

    The young people between 16-25 years across the branches (Antwerp, Brussels, Charleroi, Ghent, Liege and Limburg) where For Youth has representatives.

    How many participants we charge?

  • Active participants in the project: 15 young people;

  • The audience: about 500 people per performance.
